thank you for setting me straight on that, so now we know. I will make sure I have plenty of albon on hand for the young ones once they arrive. The bottle says to give the goat a double dose the first day and then one dose a day after that for 4 more days, (for a total of 5 days) Do you do the double dose for the first time when they are so small?

Nicholas is still not totally back to his normal self. But he is getting there. He jumps around and wags his tail..but seems to tire easy I don't know maybe it is me. We also noticed the great pyrenese (I always forget how to spell it..sorry) has not been to nice with Nicholas. We caught him trying to drag him around the field one day by his leg when Nick was sick, and another day tried it again but this time by his ear.

He was not trying to bite the goat, I did not see what happened the first day, my son did, and did not mention it to me, but after I saw him grabbing his ear, I took Nick out and have not put him back since. My husband tried yesterday and felt like the dog was going over to him again.

Has anyone had this experience with these type of dogs doing this? I was wondering if it was because maybe he knows Nicholas is sick? At first anytime we went near Nick the dog would bark and nudge us, almost like to tell us that he was not feeling well. But I am afraid to put him back with the other goats for fear the dog will hurt him. He is still a little week, as he did become slightly dehydrated as I mentioned before.
