It very well may not be CL, especially on the shoulder. I have a doe that has had 2 abcesses and had the vet pull matter from them and neither were CL, one was in a nostril. I have never had CL in my herd so I will not destroy one unless I know for sure it is CL. Lots of things can cause an abcess. The vet and I thought it was a sticker out of some hay that got stuck in her nostril. You can read lots of scary things but most of them will never happen to you. Don't panic.
