Hi Nat .I lost another horse today I know its food related as the weather has been crazy . It rains every afternoon. This makes the hay fit for cows only.I changed the feed to a horse pellet and I guess my poor old horse impacted on it. Sugery was necessary and Denver is the closest place. He wouldnt have made it there in time.Had the vet out twice today.But sure do know the weather can play havoc with our feeding plans .[To wet or to dry]Im going to start looking for winter hay tomorrow.And this is only aug. I've had a sweat shirt on most of the day . just crazy here. goat mom.
