how safe is it infection wise or pain wise for that matter, to band the horns. I was always under the impression that it is very painful for them, and could be dangerous as far as infection. So we have some with horns and some without. I actually prefer them without, as I have been stabbed a few times myself, purely by accident I might add. Our goats w/horns are still 7 months old, so they are not huge yet, but pointy,yes..LOL
