Good luck Wendy! Have a great time. We are all really tired today and our girls miss all the petting and attention they got at the fair. They cry everytime someone opens the back door. And yes, I understand that goats just don't get the respect they deserve. Our goat barn is not the best either and we don't get to show until the last full day of the fair. We had to hold our girls from Saturday evening until the next Friday AM before our show rolled around. Everyone was so tired by then that it is much harder to get ready. But it is worth the fun and wait. What a blessing 4-H is. Our local dairy goat association which is newly formed really got behind our kids this year too with incentives and our county show is growing, there were 9 kids in our novice showmanship. Go goats. Good luck again and just have fun! Completing the project whether win or loose is the most important task at hand. Thanks to everyone at Goatworld for your wonderful info. and support!
