First you only want to be using Ivermectin subq for lice, mites and nose bots. Secondly the Plus is for flukes and its pretty uncommon to have them, if you did you would be better off using Valbazen, Ivermectin Plus is very hard on the goats liver, the organ that this extra med is processed through, which can actually stress the doe, and since stress can cause worm burdens to rise, you are running around in a big ole circle :) Ivermectin used orally at 2cc per 100 pounds if you are not resistant to it in your area, works much better than subq, the goats metabolisim is very fast, subq the meds speed through the goat, actually not letting it have enough time to do the whole job it can do if you give it orally. Orally, Ivermectin is actually swollewed and the slow route through the gut starts, some.. of course is absorbed in the mucous membranes in the mouth, so it does go systemic like a subq shot does.
