The doe that was struck by lightening is doing much better now. Her eye is a little "off" still - its possible that she lost some vision to it, but still can see out of it well enough to avoid a finger being waved at it. The swelling went down alot, and the only bad thing is this poor doe is scared to death of lightening storms now. I'm supirsed she survived the hit, so I guess "sparky" should have 8 lives left :-) Hopefully she'll settle again this fall, you always wonder what trama a lightening hit causes!
As for Mr. Skunk.. havn't seen him yet.. nor smelled him...knocking on wood. Hopefully he's moved on to another farm :-)
