Mom seems to be doing much better. It's been two weeks since she's had her triplets and after 2 weeks of total care, shots, force feeding, pulling her up and getting her out of the shed just for her to run back in 30 seconds and all in all totally annoying her she seems and looks more herself. We were worried about pneumonia and we are still keeping an eye on her temp but she is looking great today and we have stopped all meds and force feeding. Temp today is 101.8 YEAH! She was up walking around on her own tonight and eating grass and just looked so much better. We got her some nice soft alfalfa and she just tore into it. Thank you all for your help and prayers. We are very hopeful that she is going to make a full recovery. She'll be on the watch list with temps taken probably every day but at least she is drinking, eating own her on and, pooping and urinating a lot. We are so thankful and so exhausted and thrilled beyond belief that she seems to be doing so well. Thanks again!!!!!!!!! from us and from her!!! Cindy |
