That temp coming up is great.
When her temp gets up to 101 then try her on milk.
Do the coffee treatment once an hour and keep checking her temp for me you are doing great.

I took her temp. at 3:45 and it is now up to 100.4 I did give her the coffee mix you suggested. I will keep giving her warm liquids and keep checkig her temp. should I even try to give her any of her milk bottle? Is there something else I should try? Thanks again.

You need to give her warm fluids like 1 ounce of black coffee and 1 tablespoon of karo syrup in it to help maintain her temp Iam worried she is crashing by her body temp going down like that.
You may want to seek the help of a vet at this point.

Her temp. is still going down, it is now 98.9 we have her on a heating pad and covered with blankets. Her eyes do react but not much. I did get the bakingsoda water and the M.O.M. down her and while I was doing that I was trying to find someone that carries the cd anti toxin 2 vets and the local farm store and no luck. She is so misrable and so is my son, all she does is moan with every breath, is there anything else that I can do to save her?

I don't have anti toxin but she did receive her CDT vaccination. Should I still try to find anti toxin? She has been a bottle baby since she was 2 days old, has only been getting heat treated milk, her mother died for what reason I'm not sure. I bought her and her brother and another doe that had actually adopted the babies after hers had died from exposure, when she was 2 days old. I will give her the Ivomec and I do have safegaurd on hand for tomorrow (if she makes it).
Any other suggestions would be greatly apreciated, this is our first year the kids are going to show at the fair and it is in 9 days, I have a feeling that this doeling won't be going with us.

Yes use the cattle injectable Ivomec but give it orally 1cc/20 lbs of body weight.
Then tomorrow give Safeguard 8cc/100 lbs orally.
Foaming at the mouth is a sign of Enterotoxemia.
Do you have any CD ANTI-toxin if so give 3cc orally and 3cc sq.
Give her 1 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 cup of water.
I would give her 15cc of milk of magnesia per 60 lbs of body weight this will help clean her out.

Hi, Thanks for getting back to me, are you telling me to redose the Ivomec. I do have some of the cattle and swine injectable, should I give that to her instead of the sheep drench? She has now started to foam at the mouth a little bit. Is this possibly entero, no one else has any of these symptoms. Thanks once again for all the help that this site provides.

Hi,
The feces you are seeing is shedding the lining of the stomach.
the pale membranes are showing us she is anemic.
I would give her 1cc/20 ;bs of body weight given orally.
Then tomorrow give her 8cc/100 lbs orally.
Give her 7cc of fortified vitamin b twice a day sq.

Give her 1 tablespoon mixed in 1 cup of water if you have to drench her you can use a turkey baster to this 3 times a day.

I would start her on LA-200 1cc/25lbs sq.
The bodt temp is getting to low she may become shocky keep her real warm and massage her legs.
Give her Probiosis to repopulate the gut this is very important.

My son's 4-H doeling was down this am, breathing shallow and fast. Her nose had a bunch of dry snot crusted on it I cleaned it up but she still sounds stuffy. I checked her temp. and it is very low 99.3, when she pooped she had the normal pellets but it looked like there was snot in it. I checked her eyelids and they were pale, I just wormed with Ivomec sheep drench 3cc/7lbs. about a week ago and her eyes were fine then. I did give her fort. B complex this am. should I start her on LA200 suspecting pneumonia? She is about 3 months old.
Thanks
