This is probably a staph infection or a bacterial infection called dermatophilus. Both are pretty common this time of year especially on recently kidded does. Spray with the antibacterial spray again or use an ointment. I have several does that are prone to this and even a few kids get it every year.

I have a pygmy doe with a 7 week old doeling at side and when she kidded within a week she had sores on her tail and they were open and raw and some just looked like welps. I figured it was from all the discharge after birth. I sprayed antiseptic spray on it and it cleared up but still looked alittle bumpy but now it is getting bad again . I included a pic. Also temp is normal, breathing normal with just alittle clear runny nose. The humidity and temps have been high and a few does have clear runny noses. I am clueless as to what this could be. She is the only doe out of 6 that have this.
