That is the other thing that we did do was temp her, she is in the normal range, I had just never seen a doe do that before. We were in the process of worming and giving everyone shots for the year. It took some time to catch her, but she is better now and happy to be free of all that milk. I will keep you posted.

Sometimes the "leftover" milk can be very watery and cloudy. She may go ahead and finish drying off now. If you can check her temperature to be sure it is normal.

I was just able to catch her up today, she is very wild. We were able to milk it out and it was almost like water. I have never seen anything like that, she was very greatful to have it relieved. What is it?

Greetings,

Have you checked the "milk" from the large side of her udder?...is it normal or chunky or maybe nearly clear?

thank you for your time

I have a doe that I recently purchased from an individual he was downsizing his herd. Any way he had just weaned her from her kids about three days before. I have had her 3 weeks and one of her udders is still huge she is not in anypain. The other teat has shrunk back to normal size. I am not sure what to do to get the other teat down. She is currently pregnant and she is due in January, please let me know.

Thanks
