Aspirin (1 tab per 10 pounds), Liquid Children's Motrin at 1 cc per 10 pounds, give once or twice a day. I have heard lots of people have used the B-L Solution pain killer (used to be called Buteless...) from Jeffers with good results too. I gave daily aspirin powder to one of my bucks for nearly a year with no obvious ill effects. They make aspririn powder for horses mostly, you can add it easily to their food. I HAVE A 10 YEAR OLD MALE GOAT, HE STARTED LIMPING ON HIS FRONT LEG AFTER HE GOT UP. I TOOK HIM TO THE VET AND HAD X-RAY DONE AND THE VET SAID HE HAD ARTHRITIS IN BOTH LEGS AND FEET, HE GAVE ME BUTE, AND I HAVE TO GIVE HIM A SHOT OF ADEQUAN FOR 3 WEEKS AND ONCE A MONTH AFTER THAT.HAS ANYBODY USE GLOUCOSAMINE AND MSM.I DON'T WANT TO USE BUTE FOR PAIN. WHAT CAN I DO NATURALLY!! VET TOLD ME THIS WOULD NOT WORK ON A GOAT. I'VE STARTED HIM ON GLOUCOSAMINE & MSM A WEEK AGO, I'M I WASTING MY MONEY AND TIME, ANY OTHER IDEALS ?? |
