Does with cystic ovaries often develop an udder and produce something like milk (it is often watery). This is caused by a hormonal imbalance and can be treated but often recurs. She may also be having a false pregnancy and will develop an udder with this condition too. This is also caused by a hormonal imbalance. You might try giving this doe lutalyse at 2 to 3 cc SQ or IM to see if it helps. It could be a month or two after before you see the udder go down. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic | ||

Hi, I checked the goat and she has milk in the udder, it is not hard or infected looking. She has no temp. and it milks out easily. I did NOT milk it out , only some to see what was like , it looked like regular milk only a little watery,But i am used to cows so not sure if goats milk is thinner? This goat is DEFINATELY NOT bred.
