OK your doe is ok we have a boer doe that is 10 months old and she comes in every week or so never over 2 weeks IF she was my pymy i would NOT breed her breeds like Saanens and Nubians can be bred at 8 months because they grow very fast (Even the other dairy breeds could it's just i find that the Saanen and Nubian grow the fastest)
If shes 80 pounds then shes reddy if not don't breed her. Keep her dry untill shes a Fall Yearling HOPE IT HELPS

Thanks so much! This is my first baby girl born here and I want to take the best care of her. I watched her like a hawk when she was in heat and never noticed any other discharge other than her own. So I was pretty sure he didnt get to her and it was raining most of the time and she didnt come out of the barn much except the first half of day one, but I am so glad we have the fencing finished and have an empty pen inbetween the girls and boys. Thanks for the reasurance.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. At her age they don't always cycle regualrly, they can cycle at night where you will miss it entirely. Watch her for another month or so before messing with her hormones.

Kacie will be 4 mo on Oct. 10th and Last month Sept 11th she showed signs of being in heat. She was vocal and had creamy discharge and the buck was going crazy at the fence. At the time they shared a fence line but the fencing is done now and they do not. I in no way intend to let her kid at 8mo she is my baby and I intend to keep her that way for a year or more longer. Tomorrow is day 24 and when and what should I do. Should I give her a shot and where do I get it and how much? If this was your 4mo pygmy doeling what would you do? Help!
