He is in rut (RAGING hormones), this is pretty normal behavior especially in a young buck. Some are definitely louder than others, and I find the younger ones can be the most persistant. Do what you need to do, but this is pretty much a part of buck ownership.

Is the other buck being rough? Bucks will use each other to relieve sexual tension (this is normal too). The older or bigger buck gets the better end of that deal.

If your bucks share a fenceline with the does be aware they can and will breed through the fence. The closer they are to the does the louder they are.

I have a 5 month old pygmy buck that is driving me absolutely crazy. He never shuts up. As soon as day breaks he starts calling us. It's an all day thing. I feed him he shuts up till he's done, I walk him he shuts up till I put him up, I pet him he shuts up till I stop. He was not a bottle baby and he's in with another buck. What can I do? If I can't correct this I will have to sell him. Thanks in advance. Terry
