This goat likely has pregnancy toxemia or hypocalcemia (low blood calcium) leading to metabolic problems.

She is trying to go into labor but without adequate calcium the muscles of her uterus won't contract. Now that she has gone down and can't get up she is in grave danger as are her kids.

Your best bet is professional veterinary help with IV calcium and fluids. But you might try giving CMPK gel at 1/3 to 1/2 the cattle dose every 4 hours to see if you can't get her calcium back up. Also give magic solution (1 part molasses, 1 part vegetable oil, 2 parts karo syrup, mix with a bit of warm water to thin it some, give 2 to 3 ounces 3 times a day)

Any goat that is in late gestation that goes off feed even a little should be treated for hypocalemia and ketosis.

Here is a link to a good article about this condition and more on how to treat and prevent it.

Roy, I really think you need to get some solid advice/help from a vet or a caprine medic.
Do you have a vet you can call?? I sent the contact info for the caprine medic info in a previous post.

my goat is very preg. looks like more than two. she has felt bad for over a week. today she layed down and wont get up. eats very little. So far since she has been down since 12:00 noon til 9:00 she hasn;t showed any labor signs . Should I be concerned. She grunts with every breath she takes. This week is her due days.
