Sounds more like a digestive disorder. Abdominal pain will make them cry out more so than polio. And since this goat has not been eating or drinking properly and is loaded with parasites I would place bets on it being abdominal pain and possibly a touch of bloat or enterotoxemia. You might try starting twice daily doses of penicillin too. Give 1 cc per 15 to 20 pounds by SQ injection. Banamine is very good for controlling abdominal pain, the dose for that is 1 cc per 100 pounds once or twice a day. Don't give banamine for more than 3 to 4 days if you can help it, it can cause digestive bleeding...Is this the same buck that was so anemic just a day or so ago? His blood count can not have come up that quickly, don't know why his eyelids are rosy unless he is bleeding into his conjunctiva...

I forgot to ask if polio makes them cry out. He seems to be doing that, not constantly, but every once in awhile. Also his eyelids are very rosey. I think I am ok there. I went ahead and gave the C&D antitoxin.
