Boer female with bloody and irritated backside. She hasn't been very active lately as far as grazing with the rest of the herd. She's been this way since the last set of triplets she gave birth to. Flies are bothering her. She's a very wild goat. What sort of action do I need to take at this point without spending too much.

Dear Amanda,
She needs to have her backside cleaned off to prevent a maggot infestation. Some antibiotic ointment would help alot. Likely she has a skin infection going on under all the dried discharge.

You also need to deworm her and she may need to be fed extra if she is to raise triplets on her own.
