If they are peeing they are getting enough. SOme does really put out right at the beginning and then adjust. Milk her out and freeze it for later. Kids don't like to nurse on overfull teats.

Maggie, I know you are going to think I am a crazy person. When this kid is in the house, he walks all over the house, follows us like a puppy, when I put him back in the barn with mama, he just goes and lays down under the heat lamp, and that's where he stays. He kept making sucking and chewing movements, so I was sure he was really hungry; but he nursed some, then went to his spot under the heat lamp. I'm beginning to think he thinks he's a house goat!! Ha. The only thing I didn't try when he was in the house was to see if he'd want a bottle, because mom is full of milk. As soon as he nurses, he pees. I always thought that when they were peeing, that meant they were getting enough milk. Thanks again. Now, It's time for me to go work on my taxes. YUK!
