Diarrhea in adult goats (a year or over) is usually worms, diarrhea in young goats over 6 weeks could be worms or coccidia. For worms I suggest using Ivermectin Injectable for Cattle, give 1 cc per 25 pounds but give it orally. Give for 2 days and repeat in 2 weeks. For coccidia use a sulfa drug. Most feedstores carry Sulmet, Dimethox or Albon 12.5% drinking water solutions. They are labeled for cattle and poultry. Do not add it to the water, use it undiluted straight from the bottle. Give 1 cc per 5 pounds for 5 days (you must treat for all 5 days). Both of these drugs are very safe be absolutely sure you give enough, overdose rather than underdose. It is safe to use both at the same time. Maggie Leman Goat 911 Capri Medic
