tetanus

I realise you are all quite experienced, etc.., but ya'll had to start somewhere, right? Well, that is where I am right now, and I need help. I am looking at babies that were born this week,I want to buy most of them, they are all nursing, and owner is going to disbud soon and I am to help her so I can learn. My question is, the owner says "no tetanus shots< they have no immune system yet." I say "yes they do,and need the shots, booster, whatever". Someone please tell me whether they need these shots, and what kind of shot. Caprine supply says TETANUS, but they bottle feed, if I read it correctly. So I would assume that they give tetanus shots because babies aren't nursing and getting immunity from mom. Maybe I am reading too much. Please help, reply privately if you'd like, thanks flo
