having come through a disasterous experience with a breeding contract(we won but it was long and painful) I would also suggest that you add to your contract exactly how any disputes will be resolved,what court will hear any suits. Also include the exact value of any animals involved,what your time is worth per hour. I have dealt with breeding animals for many years and had verbal contracts all over and never had any problems,but it just takes one bad apple. Fortuantely my husband didn't trust this one woman so I wrote up a contract....my little agreement held up in Federal District court.
