Yes a doe can pass on staph mastitis to her doe kids by nursing them. Milking them an bottle feeding the raw milk will also pass it. Especially in the concentrated colostrum. With 21 days left to wait, I would dry cow the doe, using tommorrow in both sides. This will not effect the colostrum at all, though if you milked it out you would see an oily film from the infusion. I would also put her on any 300,000 unit penicillin for 5 days, 3cc per 50 pounds injected under the skin. Why take a chance with this. Course this is just my opinion and I am not very good with "letting nature take it's course". If you have colostrum from another source (a real source not powdered) than I would milk the doe out and infuse. Vicki
