If you're only fencing in a small area, I really like to use - what they call Cattle Pannels. You always see them on dairy farms, and pig farms. They are durable, welded rod fence sections that I think come in 14' lengths. These are rugged, can put up with rubbing, and some climbing. For my large runs, I use the commonly found Field Fence, (6"wire squares, comes in a 330' roll) use T-posts, and a nice hot wire on the top to prevent climbers that break the fence, and if need be, you can put a low wire so they don't rub.
If your boers are going to have horns, you may want to research your fence well, as not to strangulate anyone by accident if horns should become entrapped.
Hope I thew in a few ideas
