Well asI said in my update, we had to treat all the goats for cocci. All but 2 were in pens together and are easy to handle goats. ALthough it was funny seeing my b/f try to hold a screaming goat and stand on a scale to get the weight. lol. All we had to use was a bathroom scale. Anyway, we ran out of daylight yesterday so we had to get a weight on my 2 wehters today to treat them. They usually hang out with the cows and aren't with the other goats. And also aren't used to being handled. After tricking them to get them in the trailer we went to a truck scale to weigh them. So there I am standing in the parking lot of this place trying to keep what turned out to be a 200 lb goat from dragging me around. lol. I bet we were a funny site. Anyway...got them both weighed and treated. Now I am trying to pack for a trail ride this weekend. Hopefully things are settled around here enough I can enjoy the weekend ride and campout. But of course since the ride is close to home we will come back every evening to feed and check on everyone here. I hate to go off and leave them with anyone. lol. I have to check on them myself.
