Hi, I am new to this message board and to goats. I have 4 pygmy goats 1 doe and 3 wethers. I have been fighting Urinary Calculi but seem to be manageing it at this point thanks to Gary. I have been doing a lot of reading since this happened and I am confused a little. How do you tell if you have a Copper problem. I have 1 wether that is grey and black and he get long reddish brown hair on his legs and some on his back. I thought it was just his coloring but what I am reading it sounds like I have a Copper problem. I am having my soil tested next week, his minerials don't have added copper. Does the red hair mean he is getting too much Copper or not enough. The more books I read the more confused is get. Thanks for any input that you have.
