I do know it could not have been one of our dogs. They are not loose unless they are hunting and they were not out the nite it happened. Yes the perment cage is safe we have raised hundreds of bunnies/rabbits in it. We put very small wire all the way around it so bunnies cannot go from cage to cage or so cats can't get at them. We too have had that misfortune. The odd thing is there were two other adult rabbits in temp cages just like hers and they are fine. I guess it does no good to dwell whats done is done. At this point I am not sure if I really want to be back in the rabbit bussiness or not. Goathater also bought 3 bunnies one buck and two does, not show quality unless maybe 4H but not terrible. Sometime between getting them and bringing them home one of the broken does turned into a broken buck. Thats ok though I guess even though we don't need 3 bucks, color sells and he will be a good cross on the solid doe we have left. It has been years since we have raised rabbits do you worm yours. We have not in the past but I am told it is something that should be done. It has never been a problem they have been very healthy with good litter size (minis 6+, meat type 11+) all with good growth rates. I was a bit aprehensive about getting them again as we went from about 100 rabbits/bunnies to maybe 25 in a weekend with the exception of 2 all the live rabbits were rounded up and salebarned. Turned out that the feed was contaminated some how. Any way gotta run and thanks for the help
