Well we got some more snow about 14 inches on the ground now. Bubba the only goat came out to see me like he does every morning. He bounces around and gets excited. Anyhow the goat pen here is behind our garage, it drops off to a pretty steep hill there and there are rocks and trees. Then there is a cliff I guess you could call it that. It is where when they graded for the barn they dug the hill out and placed huge rocks there to make a wall about 6 feet tall. Well it snowed about 9 inches last night and the wind blew and that 6 foot drop off looks like a step. Well that goat was so excited about getting fed he jumped right off the cliff and and ended up in snow over is head. If you don't think that created a stir. The horse got excited and was running, the dog was barking and my husband asking me "what did you do?" Now as I see it this was not my fault. I was laughing at Bubba and he was hollerin' to get him out. I had to have the hubby help pull this 65 lb goat out of the snow bank that he jumped in. I tell you I think this is a fair weather wether. I hope this is not an indication of how the winter is going to go.
