I am not sure if the goat is having cramps or not. I have never heard that, but it may be true. I do know that some goats are very vocal during their heat cycles, and that is nice when you are trying to detect it to take them and get them bred to a special buck. Some are so obvious with tail wagging, screaming, etc. and others have silent cycles when you have to be Sherlock Holmes to know when they cycle. What breed of goat is she, if she is a larger doe the heat cycles should fade as spring comes. But if she is a pygmy or nigerian they will continue year around and you may consider breeeding her.
