My goats are doing the same thing. They are rubbing along the fencing, etc. It's just that time of year around here.
I did have mange earlier this year, but found that they don't really rub themselves alot with that, usually they bite themselves more. If you want to check for mange, just rub your fingers down along their legs (inside and out)and feel for little bumps. If you find any, separate the coat and look inside at the skin for any tiny red blood dots. If they have mange you may even find sores at their feet and the scrotum may be hard and crusty. Very nasty stuff. Hope it's just this time of the year for your gang.
