thanks Eve.I took a little doe to the vet to get her dehorned.It is nasty.I couldnt watch eaven though he put her to sleep. I have a big buck that has a scur,he used to have 2 but he knocked one off.I m told, you can clip them off with horse hoof trimmers.Have a red hot copper fitting ready to carterize it.Thats what my vet did ,made some ugly black holes.Been 2 weeks now and all healed up.It only took 5 min. but 4 hrs for her to wake up.That scared me.Ihave a dehorning iron but to chicken to use it.And dont have any help either.Those little guys are strong. goat mom.
