I'm speaking on the basis that there may be some facts about your doe that I don't know about. I assume from what you said that she was not a very friendly goat before she had the baby, then suddenly got more friendly after having the baby. I'm taking a stab in the dark, but it could be that after delivering, her energy and stamina took a big hit. Therefore, she basically did not have the energy or the "will" to put up any sort of fight. It's amazing how calm goats can get when they are not up to par. It could be that now she has regained that energy and stamina and she is back to her ole self. The only difference is that she is now penned up and responsible for protecting her young. Calm goats will many times become more aggessive when they have young. In your case your doe probably already has an aggressive personality, then when you add the mother instincts, you get a very aggressive doe, that is starting to feel her "oats" again. The other thing to consider is the fact that I may not have any idea of what I'm talking about! I am starting to sound like a goat Psychiatrist. Hey...you might want to try the "wine" remedy that is posted under Pink Eye problems on this site. Except instead of you drinking the wine, give plenty to the goat. Sounds like she needs to just "chill out".
