Corid is only good for treating coccidia. If he has diarrhea from e. coli corid won't help. You might try a sulfa drug such as Sulmet or Albon. Its a five day treatment: day one give 1 ml per five pounds orally. Days 2-5 give 1 ml per 10 lbs. orally. Also you might want to give him some Vit. B12 ( SQ injection) 1 cc per 100 pounds. Vit B 12 is hard to overdose so you don't have to worry too much if you give too much, any excess will be excreted in the urine. Corid affects both the disease organism's (coccidia) and the host's (the goat) ability to absorb and utilize vitamin B 12 which is essential for proper nerve function. Also some probios or yogurt to help restore rumen flora might be helpful. Hope some of this helps and your wether is soon feeling better!
