My Alpine doe just delivered triplets and has emphatically rejected one kid that I think is blind. Her front legs seem a bit weak and actually longer than her rears. We of course are going to bottle feed her. My question is this. Would it be the general consensus of the goat keepers of the world to terminate this poor thing because of her blindness? Is this cruel to keep her or would she be better off being destroyed? Is it possible that the blindness is just temporary? The others are doing fine. Mom is a bit weak, but none the less standing to feed the other two.
