I have two yearling nubian wethers, destined to be packers. They share a corral and a feeder with an elderly mare who has some health problems and needs daily bran (geriatric horses need 'regularity' too ... *LOL*) and electrolytes.
My question is, is there any harm in the goats eating horse electrolytes and bran? I'd like to keep the goats in the same corral as the horse because she defends them from dogs. (Not too many feral dogs will take on a 900 pound old broodmare who has no fear of dogs and an incredibly accurate kick.)
