Goatmom I agree with what you are saying. One is enough! We have 3 bucks. 1 is a boer/spanish mix and he was born in July. There will come a time when he gets older that he will be fixed and go over to the "wether field" as I call it. A friend of Mikes welcomes the goats we intend on selling, as they tend to his pasture while they are fattening up. The other two are pure boer's who are 9 mos old. Unfortunatly I know one of them is going to eventually go. I know which one, and have done my best to remove myself from him..(hopefully it worked..LOL) You really only need one buck. Mine have not gotten to the point to where they are fighting yet..which is weird to me. They get a long quite well actually. They will either be together all the time or ignore one another..it is kind of funny...But then again they are only 9 mos old..I am sure the fighting is yet to come (smile)
