Actually, the Biosol is one of several possible antibiotics that can be used to prevent and treat colibacillosis - not necessarily to treat the diarrhea. Where it mentions "susceptible to" means that that particular strain can be killed (or reduced) by the antibiotic.
Personally I don't know how good the Biosol is because I have never used it and have never really heard much about it until now. I know that alot of times people will use the tetracycline based antibiotics such as LA-200, BioMycin, etc. for ecoli related illnesses. These are more of a "broad-spectrum" antibiotic.
So one could use the Biosol to treat for the colibacillosis but that would not necessarily "immediately" treat one of the symptoms (diarrhea). Of course, as the Biosol begins to work, the symptoms are likely to fade as the disease goes into remission.
