Hi folks,
It's great to see that many of you are getting your web pages established. Helene has agreed to be our web page guru and I see our guru has been busy indeed. I think that it's best that she help you because I get to technical I realize. Not that I think any of you are dumb. No siree. It's just that I get to wordy sometimes for my own good. I'm the kind of guy who you ask what time it is and I'll give you a complete history of timekeeping starting with sundials up to digital watches. So all this is really great. It's something I had hoped for all along - our community pulling together and becoming a solid group of friends.
I've been looking at everyones site and they are looking pretty neat! Everyone sure has some very nice looking goats. Heck, I started feeling bad that I hadn't put my pages up there yet so I went ahead and added our old site from a couple of years back. It's in dire need of updates so please be patient.
A few options everyone may wish to consider: guestbooks. Everyone is welcome to add a guestbook to their site. There are quite a few free guestbook pages out there to choose from. http://www.bravenet.com offers quite a few features that you may want to look at.
Also, now that you have a web site going, be sure to add your link in the GoatWorld Links section so we can get your site in the search engines. By proxy you'll be listed in search engines just because you are on GoatWorld. But it's always nice to have your own niche out there when someone looks up goats.
Well, enough for now. Again, let's all give Helene a great big hug of thanks for all of her help. As a few of you so kindly put it, she's an angel.
