Hi Helene,

You are probably right. I kind of wanted to retract that about cocci after I wrote it. For the most part goats are over that stage at 6 1/2 months but something kind of clicked when Tanya mentioned the possibility of old hay from last year. I guess I got a vision of the goat mouthing food on the ground as such. Probably not cocci but always an outside chance. Good point you made here.
