Hi Leah.
From what I understand, medicated feed is given to prevent/control cocci, and only necessary in very young goats. It's also my understanding, that all goats have a small amount of cocci in their systems, and they eventually build up an immunity to it, rendering it harmless. How old are your goats? You mention breeding them, so I'm assuming that they are over a year. In that case, I wouldn't think it was necessary, or desireable to feed a medicated feed. Go to the GoatWorld Articles section, and look under goat nutrition. There is a good article there on the different feeds people use for their goats. Diana's mix also sounds great. Fortunately our feed store is only about 20 minutes from our home. When I got my first goats, I switched them all over to a feed that that store carried. It just made it easier for me. Thankfully that store carries Blue Seal products, which I have found to be very good. Good luck, and keep us posted.
~Mary
