I have had to deal with mastitis in two of my does. They were still nursing their young, though. I gave them an infusion of Gallimycin, only 1/2 dose as it only gives the dosage for cows. It worked for me. They fought like the dickens, but we finally got the infusion in. There are some posts on here that go into mastitis in more detail. I hope this helps.
