Hello everyone. Just an update. The little guy is still hanging in there! 2 weeks old tomorrow. My vet finally decided to prescribe metronidazole 2X a day( for the anti inflamitory) been using a probiotic Anothrvet thought I should bbe using a drying agent to clear his congestion, but my vet didn't seem to agree and he said definately no lasix. Also tried your suggestion of Vit E. Everyday - everytime I feed him I try to bottle feed, put him on the doe ( I use a grafting gate) and pan feed. I don't know if he has brain damage or what. I put a kid pellet feed in with him the other day and he is nibbling at it and hay! No evidence of drinking from the pan though. He gets up streches and walks around a little. I've only been giving him about 4oz a feeding, but his belly is awfully round. He isn't exhibiting signs of bloat though. He is urinating and pooping.
I need to get him off the tube!
