I have been under the impression that if you don't disbud your goats when they are a few weeks old that you can't do it yourself when they are older. We were told that once the horns become any size at all they must be removed by surgery through a vet and that it then requires puting the goat under anathesia(spelling). If you do it yourselves I would be interested in the procedure and any meds needed or precauions to take. Thanks for all info. Seems like there is so much to learn :). Gloria
