Hi again Helene! Everybody has a differant breeding program for us I only breed them once a year. After they are weaned I try to get them back into good condition after all the milking has taken out of them. This year though I have to watch to make sure I don't over condition. So I will wean the last ones in Aug. that gives her a couple of months to get her back in shape and ready to breed back again. My thought is that if I breed a thin doe or an underconditioned doe it could be more problems down the road and God knows I don't need anymore problems! See what your vet suggests and go from there.
