Have you ever had a problem with CAE in your herd? My friend had a doe go fresh - nice udder but hard as a rock.. usually in a few days a new udder's edema goes down but hers never did. It would yield just a little bit of millk.

Hopefully its just a little swollen from just commin into milk. I use "uddermint" on the fresh does - this peppermint oil helps soothe and make them feel a little better. (reminds me on limimnet, makse my hands feel great and mintie fresh.. ok STRONG mint.. lol)

keep masaging that udder, sometimes warm cloths on it help!
