We put all of our lambs on a lamb feed that has cocci prevention in it. Of course they are being weaned so catching them isn't a problem at this point. Our goat kids we are going to do the five day thing. The one problem I see with doing it in the water is that some of the does will drink more than others, if it is passed through the milk it might be possible that not enough is passing. Any other thoughts on this?
