doe that keeps on milking.......

Goat Mineral Mix Colostrum

Posted by linda on May 31, 2002 at 11:07:28:

I'm weaning kids today so if you hear the crying it's from here. I have a tog/alpine doe that had twins last year. All went well and we weaned them at 10 weeks. She has never dried up. She must be milking herself out. We feed no grain and didnt't breed her last fall. Talked to vet about this and she kind of laughed, said we might try the large plastic collar. Don't know if this is something to worry about. No we don't want to milk so it isnt a good deal for that. Ever had this?
