Justine do you have a thermometer to take the kids temp? If so I would do that first just to see if he or she isn't running a fever of some kind. Does the kid seem depressed? Some of my kids had a runny yellow scour the first 3-4 days if the doe was a good milker and the kid was real agressive. If it doesn't seem to dry up with in a day or two treat him with Spectam Scour Halt it a red liquid give him one pump in the morning and one in the evening until it dries up. Its inexpensive I think it costs about $8 here.
