We have had three more kids born afer a break from goats for about 4 months. We had five calves born during our hiatus....they are no picnic either. These last goats have kidded all on their own, go out in the mornning and sweet babies there. Our Gr. Pyr. Lily is having fun with the babies. This is the first she has been loose with them. She takes her big slobbery mouth and puts if over the babies back. THen she directs it whereever she wants the baby to go. My son picked up the kid and said, why is he all wet. I said, dog slobber and he quickly put it back down!!!!! I have two more does to freshen yet, Emma is still grunting, she must have a half a dozen kids in her, my son's nubiand is due a week from tomorrow. He is so excited he can hardly stand it. I hope all goes well for his sake.
Rambling Rose is done for tonite,
