Hi Sandy:

I am so glad you are going to add a great pyr I would definatly not be without ours!! When we got ours Mike choose a male for some reason or another, I don't remember why, but I know people who have both males and females and they do wonderful jobs!

There is a pic on our website of "Ralph" when we first got him, he looked like a little fluffy ball, so adorable, he is close to 1 yr old now, and is HUGE!!

The funny thing about ours is that he and Bill E Jack our 100% boer Buck are the best of friends. Bill E is the only goat that is willing to play "rough" with Ralph when he feels like it. They wrestle like crazy sometimes I wish I had a video camera and he protects our goats with everything he has.

During the winter, Mike and I were in bed, and we heard Coyotee's howling. We had the calves and the goats seperated, by a fence, but they could go within the same area (still seperated by a fence)..We didn't hear Ralph barking as usual so I got up, he had rounded both the goats and the calves up and got them all the way in the back corner of the yard, he always lets us know when something is wrong, even when they get their heads stuck in the fence..So with that, I can forget about his "puppy chewing stage" when he ATE my birdbath and a few pairs of really good shoes.

Let us know when you get her!
